Les valeurs de focales obtenues sont arrondies \u00e0 des valeurs correspondant \u00e0 ce qu'on trouve habituellement sur le march\u00e9.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4>Comment le simulateur Stelvision \u00e9labore-t-il la gamme optimis\u00e9e ?<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\t<p>Suivant le nombre d'oculaires choisis (entre 2 et 7), le simulateur propose des oculaires permettant d'atteindre divers grossissements, compris entre un grossissment minimal et un\r\n\t\tgrossissement maximal. Les choix propos\u00e9s permettent de s'\u00e9quiper progressivement, jusqu'\u00e0 une gamme \"id\u00e9ale\" de 7 oculaires bien \u00e9tag\u00e9s et couvrant tous les grossissements d'un extr\u00eame \u00e0 l'autre.<\/p>\r\n\t<p>Remarque : les focales sont limit\u00e9es volontairement \u00e0 une plage de 2.5 \u00e0 40 mm, correspondant \u00e0 celles disponibles couramment dans le commerce.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h4>Qu'est-ce que le grossissement minimal ?<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\t<p>On consid\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement qu'il vaut mieux \u00e9viter de grossir en de\u00e7a du grossissement donnant une \"pupille de sortie\" plus grande que 6 mm. Ce qui correspond \u00e0 une taille standard d'ouverture de l'oeil humain.<\/p>\r\n\t<p>Cette r\u00e8gle n'est pas absolue : on peut grossir moins, mais une partie de la lumi\u00e8re sera perdue et, dans le cas d'un t\u00e9lescope, une sorte de t\u00e2che noire risque d'appara\u00eetre au centre de l'image en raison de l'obstruction du miroir secondaire.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\t<p>La focale d'oculaire correspondant au grossissement minimal est donn\u00e9e par : <br><b>f = D \/ 6 <\/b><br>o\u00f9 D est le diam\u00e8tre de l'instrument en mm.\r\n\r\n<h4>Qu'est-ce que le grossissement maximal ?<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\t<p>Trop grossir peut conduire \u00e0 des images de pi\u00e8tre qualit\u00e9, car les images obtenue ont une certaine r\u00e9solution intrins\u00e8que limit\u00e9e par :\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>le diam\u00e8tre et la qualit\u00e9 de l'intrument,\r\n\t\t<li>la pr\u00e9sence de turbulence atmosph\u00e9rique\r\n\t<\/ul>\r\n\t<\/p>\r\n\t<p>Selon les cas, on sera plut\u00f4t limit\u00e9 par l'instrument, ou par l'atmosph\u00e8re. Aussi, la notion de grossissement maximal pr\u00eate souvent \u00e0 d\u00e9bat.<\/p>\r\n\t<p>Le simulateur calcule le grossissment maximal de la fa\u00e7on suivante :\r\n\t\t<br><b>Gmaxi = 2 * D<\/b><br>\r\n\to\u00f9 D est le diam\u00e8tre de l'instrument en mm.\r\n\t<\/p>\r\n\t<p>Pour les gros instruments (D > 200 mm) , ce grossissement ne pourra \u00eatre int\u00e9ressant que par ciel extr\u00eamement stable, c'est-\u00e0-dire tr\u00e8s rarement. Depending on the characteristics of your screen (definition &amp; resolution), this distance will be about the width of the screen, or even less in some cases (wide screens used at the maximum definition). For example, if you simulate an ultra-wide-field eyepiece of 100 \u00b0 of apparent field, the image should fill almost all of your field of vision when you close one eye.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Details available for planetary observation<\/h3>\n\n<p>The simulator takes into account, to some extent, the resolution of the instrument as a function of its diameter. Thus, the Moon or Saturn will appear more detailed with a telescope of 300 mm, for example, than with a telescope of 114 mm.<\/p>\n\n<p>However, the following parameters can have an important influence and are not taken into account:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>the quality of the instrument: an instrument of mediocre quality or poorly regulated will not reach its theoretical resolution power<\/li><li>Atmospheric turbulence: very often, this prevents the resolution of the instrument, especially for medium and large diameters (&gt; 200 mm).<\/li><\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Details available for deep sky observation<\/h3>\n\n<p>For the observation of weakly luminous objects such as nebulae or galaxies (\u00ab\u00a0deep sky\u00a0\u00bb), it is the luminosity of the instrument that is decisive. The simulator takes this into account by simulating, to a certain extent, the luminosity of the instrument as a function of its diameter. Thus, the spiral arms of the hunting dog galaxy (M51) will appear much better with a telescope of 600 mm, for example, than with a telescope of 250 mm. The simulator thus has a pedagogical value and is appropriate to get a rough idea of \u200b\u200bwhat one can hope to see with a given instrument.<\/p>\n\n<p>But be careful, the following parameters can have an important influence in real situation and are not taken into account:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>light pollution: parasitic lights prevent seeing objects that are not bright like nebulae and galaxies<\/li><li>the eye of the observer: Experienced observers perceive more details than novice observers (notably by the control of the offset vision, which increases the sensitivity of the eye)<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>In addition, the screen setting and brightness of the room change the perception of the simulated image: avoid strong lighting, and use a monitor that is set to brightness and contrast.<\/p>\n\n<p>Finally, the overall rendering can be quite distant from reality because it is very difficult to account for all the shades of light. Thus, the image obtained in a real situation will be more pleasant (except instrument of poor quality or polluted sky) because of richer nuances: the brightness of the stars and the texture of the nebulosities will be better rendered.
