Prices and taxes
Prices are shown under the photograph of each item. VAT is included when the customer address is within the European Union. In every other instance, VAT is excluded.
Orders are to be exclusively placed through the stelvision.com website. A confirmation email will be sent to you upon reception of each purchase order.
Payment of order shall be made online by credit card or PayPal, of through a bank transfer or a bank check (from a French bank).
Right of Withdrawal
In compliance with article L121-21 of the French Consumer Code, you have a 14-day withdrawal period after you receive the product.
The terms of withdrawal, in accordance with the provisions of the articles of the European Directive 2001/83 of 25 October 2011, are the following:
You must clearly notify (by electronic mail or by phone) your decision to terminate the contract. This includes returning the product at the customer’s expense. In compliance with article L121-21-4 of the French Consumer Code, refunding will occur by bank check or by re-crediting your bank account on reception of the returned items, subject to the reception of all ordered items in their original packaging and condition.
Order Processing and Shipping Time
Shipments take place from Monday to Friday. Items are shipped the same day of reception of your online payment for orders purchased before 12pm (Paris time). If an order was purchased after 12pm, the item will be dispatched the following day. This does not include weekends and bank holidays.
We strive to communicate whenever possible the occurrence of possible stock shortages before confirmation of your order. When one of the items of your order is out of stock, the entire order shall be put on hold until the item is once again available.
In case we are unable to inform you of this stock shortage before order confirmation, we will contact you at the earliest possible opportunity and offer you to change or cancel your order.
Once your order has been prepared, the package is handed over to La Poste (national postal service company) or a carrier for shipping. Shipping time depends on the chosen shipment method. Standard delays for each shipment method are shown on our website, based on information provided by postal services and carriers. These delays are expressed in working days, and do not include possible shipping problems.
Late / Missing delivery
We strive to use very reliable shipping services. However, a delay in delivery or the temporary loss of a package may occur. In the case of a delay that exceeds 7 days, please inform Stelvision’s Customer Services, who will in turn inquire after La Poste or the third party carrier. Such an inquiry may take up to 21 days to be resolved. If during this period the package is found as is the result in most cases, it will immediately be dispatched to the delivery address. However, if the package remains missing by the end of the 21-day period, it will be considered lost. In such a case, Stelvision will ship a replacement package free of charge to the customer. Stelvision will also provide a full refund of any item purchased but no longer available after shipping issues.
If a delay exceeds the 7-day wait since purchase order, you may cancel your order by contacting Stelvision Customer Services by email or phone.
A flat rate will apply to all / a portion of shipping and handling costs. This rate depends on the shipment method chosen. This may be reduced or free of charge upon a certain amount of purchased goods, as indicated on the online shop website upon purchase order.
This section refers to French law. Other conditions may apply according to your specific country.
Legal warranty applies under conditions defined in the law. The rights concerned in articles L.211-4, L.211-5, L.211-12, L.211-9, and L.133-3 of the French Consumer Code and articles 1641 and 1648 section 1 of the Civil Code all apply.
All products supplied by the retailer benefit from the legal guarantee of compliance as stipulated in articles L. 211-4 to L. 211-14 of the French Consumer Code and the legal guarantee for hidden defects as stipulated in articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code.
As stipulated in the legal framework:
- You have two years from delivery of goods to act;
- You may choose between having the goods repaired or replaced, as stipulated in the conditions in article L. 211-9 of the Consumer Code. If the choice infers a cost overtly disproportionate in regards with the other terms, we will proceed in accordance with the other terms;
- You are in no obligation to prove the existence of the lack of conformity twenty-four months following the delivery of the item.
These legal stipulations are independent of any possible commercial gesture granted.
The provisions of the present section do not deprive the buyer of the right to bring an action on account of latent defects as provided for in Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code or any other action of a contractual or extracontractual nature to which he is entitled under the law.
Communication of Personal Data
Personal data may be communicated to our logistics provider (E-Logik) or delivery partner (La Poste, DHL, or Mondial Relay) to ensure the proper handling and delivery of your items. This information may include your postal address, your email address, or the phone number provided during purchase. These service providers agree to maintain the confidentiality of the personal data transmitted by Stelvision and commit to keeping this data in a secure environment, in accordance with the legal stipulations of data storing. Your data shall not be used by our logistics provider or our delivery partner for any other purpose than the implementation of their services (i.e. shipping and handling, communication on availability, and possible customer satisfaction surveys).
